Star Awards

Aaron Hall, Kevin Lemoine, and Ernie Slaton
Laura Mitchell nominated her colleagues Ernie, Aaron, and Kevin for a Star Award.
“They have taken time to explain different ways to use the tools I have available. Ernie spent a lot of time explaining ad hoc reports to me, and I feel comfortable that I can make the system pull any report I want — as long as I can be patient. Aaron has helped me understand how the information goes into ad hoc and helps me think of ways to make it better and pitfalls I have overlooked. Kevin is helping me with understanding the contracts and how they pull out of the TMS so International can use them better.”
Dustin Nettles
Tony Corbett nominated his colleague Dustin for a Star Award.
“Freight claims management can be a mundane and laborious task, but it requires proactive management and dedication to make it succeed. Dustin took on the challenge of freight claims several months ago and has embraced the requirements, moving freight claims to a proactive position from a reactive one. He has quickly become an SME in the area of freight claims and, as a result, LynnCo is much better positioned to deal with these situations, and that translates to a much better customer experience. Dustin is our “go-to” person now on claims, and he is ready to move to the big leagues next by taking on escalation with “Mega” claims, the most difficult and economically impactful type of freight claim we must deal with. This will require regulatory knowledge, hard negotiation skills, and the ability to deal with insurance underwriters on behalf of our customers. He can do it!”

Natalie Gillson
Tim Lynch nominated his colleague Natalie for a Star Award.
“I would like to nominate Natalie Gillson for a Star Award. In the spirit of ‘everyone at LynnCo is a salesperson,’ Natalie, while attending and representing LynnCo at a Tulsa Business Ethics luncheon downtown, was seated next to the CFO of Brainerd Chemical and was asked numerous questions about LynnCo, its services, its value proposition, etc. She knew enough to be dangerous and apparently fielded the questions very successfully. After the luncheon, Brainerd’s CFO asked that we contact her President the next day. Three months later, after many meetings, discovery visits, and a proposal, LynnCo was selected to replace their current logistics partner. Congratulations and thank you to Natalie for a job well-done!”

Melissa Young
Christy Tyre nominated her colleague Melissa for a Star Award.
“I had an emergency yesterday and had to leave at 12:00 — and we were swamped. Melissa went above and beyond and got everything taken care of with a smile. I just wanted to make sure she knows how much I appreciate her stepping up and getting it done.”

Tanya Haynes and Lavonna Pettit
Tami McCarty nominated her colleagues Tanya and Lavonna for a Star Award.
“These girls deserve a special appreciation award as they have worked so hard with Debbie out of the office. They always pick up the slack and help, and they stay as late as it takes to get it done. Our whole department has been great, but these two have especially worked hard.”

Ava Weber, Kaela Williams, Adam Miller, and Tim Karp
Ava, Kaela, Adam, and Tim received a Star Award nomination from their superior, Jae Whang, due to their hard work preparing for and participating in the Leviton Business Review.
